807 CE - Book of Armagh

Commissioned by Torbach, the abbot of the Armagh church, (episcopal as opposed to monastic, i.e.: ruled by a bishop). The Book was produced by Fermdomnach and two other scribes, it includes "St. Patrick's Confessions," New Testament texts and "The Life of St. Martin".
