1208 CE - Olaf Imprisoned by Reginald, Isle of Man
by Ronald MacGordon
Olaf, younger brother of Reginald, but legitimate and heir-designate under Godred, had complained about not having enough of the inheritance and was imprisoned by Reginald in Scotland. An abortive attempt to free him caused Reginald to go to Norway to swear homage to King Inge to legitimize his position.
