1131 CE - Battle of Curlews Recorded in Annals of the Four Masters
"An army was led by Conor mc Domhnall Ua Lochlainn, the people of the north of Ireland and the Ulidians, into Connacht; and the Connachtmen made an attack upon the rear of the army, in the vicinity of Seaghais (i.e. Corrsliabh), and a battle was fought between them... They met, however, on the following day at Loch Cé and made a year's peace."
