1066 CE - Bretons Help William At Battle Of Hastings
by Iain MacAnTsaoir
This year finds the Bretons still longing to rebuild an old pre-Saxon Britain. Toward this end, the Bretons help William of Normandy to win the Battle of Hastings. Yet, William has his own vision for a great Norman empire and so a Celtic Britain is not part of the great scheme.
